Horror Links

When building a horror links page, it's important to consider your audience.  Obviously, someone searching for "horror movie links" isn't happy with the search results for the phrases "horror movies" or "horror movie." Otherwise they wouldn't be looking for a hand edited, curated list of choices. So for this page, I've focused on including an eclectic bunch of sites that you might not otherwise find via a search engine. The sites included are here because they offer excellent, unique content written by horror enthusiasts.

You'll notice that some sites are represented multiple times on this page. Often, those sites are part of my network. I've listed pages and sections of my other sites that I think are especially relevant, high-quality, and useful

Horror Movie Links

Horror Links - Horror Movie LinksThis list of sites focuses mostly on websites that focus more on horror movies than other types of horror. For example, you won't find a lot of information about horror books or horror board games at these sites.

Dread Central - Horror movie news and horror movie reviews, constantly updated.

Final Girl - A blog that focuses on the 1970's and 1980's slasher movies.

Horror's Not Dead - Blog posts review horror movies.

Pit of Horror - Horror movie news and horror movie reviews.

Horror Niche Sites

Even though you might think that "horror niche sites" serve smaller niches, some of the websites listed in this section serve multiple niches, making them even broader in scope than the horror movie sites listed in the previous section.

Flames Rising - Includes horror reviews, fiction, and lots of information about roleplaying games, especially horror roleplaying games.

The Groovy Age of Horror - Another horror blog that covers a lot more than just horror movies.

Rue Morgue - Online home of the horror magazine of the same name.

TX Zombies Graveyard - An entire discussion forum dedicated to zombies, especially zombie movies.

The Vault of Horror - A frequently updated, well written blog about horror.

Zombos Closet - Excellent, well-written blog about horror movies and other horror subjects.

Other Not-Necessarily-Horror Sites and Pages

These websites aren't necessarily horror related, but I either really like them a lot, have a hand in managing them, or thought you'd really like them. Sometimes all three. Enjoy the eclectic collection of sites below:

Communizine - Blog posts on a wide--a very wide--variety of topics.

Dominoes Coupons - For those of you who want to have a pizza delivered so that you can munch on something while watching your favorite horror movie.

Personal Homepages for People with the Last Name Ray - My favorite category at the Open Directory, for purely selfish reasons.

Pizza Hut Coupons - For people who don't like Dominoes Pizza.

Xenite - Michael Martinez's excellent site about science fiction and fantasy, among other topics that interest him.
