New Horror DVDs
I wanted to write a page about new horror DVDs that wouldn't become outdated and obsolete almost immediately. So I couldn't write a page just listing the new horror DVDs that just came out within the last 30 days or something like that--it would be obsolete in a month. So instead I thought I'd create a directory of website and pages that had information about horror movie release dates, both theatrically and on video. I hope you'll find this page to be as useful a resource as I do.
Horror Movie Release Dates
About.com - I'm not, as a general rule, a big fan of most About.com pages or sections. But they do offer extensive information about horror movie release dates, both for new horror DVDs and for theatrical releases, and it's worth listing in this very selective micro-directory I've created here.
Bloody
Disgusting offers the best "coming soon" section devoted exclusively to
horror movies of any that I've seen. The section I'm linking to covers the
release dates for theatrical releases, but it also includes direct-to-DVD
movies. You can find information about horror movie release dates specifically
for DVDs on this page at their site:

Coming Soon - That link points to the DVD release schedule section on their site. You can also find the release dates for Blu-ray movies, too. They're not organzied by genre, so you'll have to cull through the other listings to find just the horror films.
Movie Insider - This site offers a great calendar style listing of DVD releases by date. You'll have to determine which of the releases qualify as new horror DVDs as opposed to other movies like romantic comedies or whatever, but that shouldn't be too hard to pull off.
Video ETA - You'll have to sort through the various genres of movies to find the DVD release dates for your favorite horror movies, but I've never met a horror movie fan who refused to watch anything except horror movies. Most horror movie fans like all kinds of movies, so this site shouldn't be an inconvenience to browse through and find your horror movie release dates.
